Dinner: BBQ seasoned chicken breast baked (pack of three means one left for lunch tomorrow!). Cubed yams with a bit of light brown sugar, olive oil, cayenne pepper and chili pepper. A cup of roasted veggies (onion, zucchini, mushroom) with drizzled olive oil and salt. Three of these ingredients - the onion, zucchini and yams - were from the delivery this morning. Yum, yum, yum!
Whole meal is less than 450 calories. And filling. And delicious.

Lesson of the day: an hour is not a long enough wait between a small meal and a run. By 2.25 I felt the inkling of vomiting (tense jaw, salivating, fun!) and by 2.9 I was sure I’d round out the three miles by puking on my own feet.
Current status: sitting cross-legged next to the futurehusband, head down and throbbing wildly, gulping water while he plays Prototype 2 while occasionally glancing over to check I haven’t passed out.
Might get in some yoga later tonight to make up for the lack of a cool down.

Our first delivery of Door to Door Organics. Blueberries, 1lb zucchini, a cucumber, 4 gala apples, 6 Valencia oranges, 3 pears, 1 avocado, 4 yams, 1 sweet onion, 2 lemons, 7 bananas, and a grapefruit thrown in! Can’t wait, going to have to do something with the yams tonight, and plan on killing an orange at lunch!
